Connected Platform Accounts
Clyde allows you to connect third-party platform accounts to enable automated marketing workflows. When you connect an account, we use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 authorization to request only the permissions necessary for the features you use.
What We Collect
When you connect a platform account (such as Google or LinkedIn), we collect and store:
- OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) to maintain your connection
- Your email address and account identifier on that platform
- The list of permissions (scopes) you authorized
How We Use Connected Accounts
Connected account data is used solely to perform actions you or your team request through the platform, such as:
- Publishing content to your company pages or profiles
- Managing advertising campaigns on your behalf
- Retrieving analytics and performance data
- Managing business listings and reviews
We do not use your connected account data for any purpose other than providing the Clyde platform services you have requested. We do not sell, share, or transfer your platform data to third parties.
Revoking Access
You can disconnect any connected platform account at any time through your Clyde settings. When you disconnect, we immediately delete your stored OAuth tokens and cease all access to that platform on your behalf. You may also revoke access directly from the connected platform's security settings.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
- Secure password hashing
- Access controls and authentication
- Regular security reviews
For Private tier customers, your data is stored on dedicated infrastructure isolated from other users.

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain data for 30 days before deletion. You can request immediate deletion by contacting us.
